Mac Computers

So, you’re using a Mac computer eh? Great choice! And I bet your technician asked you to come here to get connected. If so, let’s get started!

To get started, please go ahead and click the download button below. Then follow the instructions listed below.

Instructions: 

  1. Download the file using the button above.
  2. Save the file and open the app once download is completed.If using Safari, you may be prompted for the following. Click Allow if so.
  3. Once opened you may be prompted to verify you want to open this open. If so, click Open.
  4. Once opened, access the EULA and DPA as shown below.
  5. Once opened, you will need to grant some app permissions for TeamViewer to run. Under Screen Recording, click Request Access.
  6. On the next popup, select Open System Preferences and a new window will open up.
  7. In the System Preferences window that has just opened, unlock the window but pressing the lock button at the bottom left corner, then scroll down on the list on the right hand side of the window until you find TeamViewer QuickSupport. Check off the box next to it.
  8. You will now be prompted to Quit & Reopen TeamViewer. Click the button as shown.
  9. Wait a moment and TeamViewer should be opened again. Once opened, the same window as before will appear, but this time under Accessibility click on Request Access.
  10. You will be prompted to open System Preferences again. Click the button as shown below.
  11. Under Accessibility in the System Preferences app, unlock the window again using the lock icon at the bottom left corner, then scroll down on the right hand side of the window until you see TeamViewer QuickSupport.Once again, check off the box beside it and then lock system preferences, as shown below.
  12. You can close the system preferences app and return to the TeamViewer window. Provide this ID and password to your technician.
